There is a varied and rewarding choice of volunteering opportunities at Hurst Farm. They are open to all and you decide the commitment you give. By giving your time and skills you will make a difference to the community and we value the enthusisam you bring.

Woodland Ranger

Are you passionate about wildlife and conservation? Are you willing to be outdoors in all weathers throughout the year and want to build positive connections with nature? Are you keen to develop skills and knowledge to improve the woodland? This role could be for you.

Community Gardener

Are you a keen gardener and want to share your skills and enthusiasm with others? Do you like to work outdoors and have an active interest in developing community spaces? Do you thrive as part of a team? This role could be for you.

Dry Stone Waller

Do you enjoy being outdoors and working with your hands? Do you have an eye for detail and thrive as a part of a team? Are you keen to develop traditional countryside skills or are you interested in repairing or building your own wall at home? This role could be for you.

Oral History Producer

Are you a good listener, have a knack for asking the right questions and are interested in capturing the stories of local people? Are you curious about our Oral History Project and providing people with new ways of connecting with locally important stories. This role could be for you.

Event Helper

Are you a people person who loves their local community? Do you like to organise imaginative get togethers with family and friends? Do you like to get stuck in and enjoy creating memorable experiences for people? This role could be for you.

Community Supporter

Are you a friendly and approachable person who enjoys interacting with others? Do you love your local community, have a positive attitude and enjoy meeting new people? Are you interested in helping people build their confidence and make connections with others? This role could be for you.

Milk Churn Cafe

Do you enjoy working as part of a team and care about creating a warm, welcoming space in your community? Are you are multi-tasker who likes to learn new things? This role could be for you.

Youth Ranger

A NEW Youth Ranger Volunteer Role will be LAUNCHING SOON. If you are interested in wildlife, conservation and what happens in your community, this role could be for you.
